Question #8: Where did you live as a child - town, country, suburb, etc.
I only lived in the best city ever!! The one & only Murray Utah. I lived in the same house my entire life until I got married. I absolutely loved (& still love) Murray. Yes it's true, I bleed black & orange (& I always will). For all you Spartans, you know what I mean. I would love to move back & hopefully one day I will. I always had such fun times there. Murray is close to everything; parks, malls, freeways, farms. It's not huge, but it's definitely not small. I lived across the street from a park & I loved going over there like everyday. It seems like we always had some sort of a game going on. We always felt safe. Never really had anything to worry about. I really wish we could go back to the innocence we used to feel. I grew up knowing most of my friends from a very young age & we all went to high school together. People I talk to about where they grew up, no one seems to have the same pride as I do. It's funny, Riley does not feel partial to any one place where he lived. Not even where he went to high school. At first, he thought it was kinda weird the pride I have in my home town. But now, I know, he feels the same way about Murray. He loves it like I do. When I was a kid, anywhere you went in the valley, you could see where home was because of the smoke stacks. I wish they were still there. I totally remember the day they came down. Now in there place is the IMC. I even remember when I was really young, there was a picture of the KFC guy painted on the big one. People used to climb those for fun too. I loved going to all the sporting events too. Ken Price. Soooo fun. I still love going there. We always had the best times at Wheeler Farm, Jordan River, & Murray Park. GO SPARTANS!!!
