My very very favorite chore by far is to do the laundry. I love it. It is so calming & relaxing to me. There really are few things that smell better to me than fresh laundry. Most people hate to fold the clothes. I love it. I love putting everything away in its perfect spot. If Riley ever does the laundry (which he hardly ever does) I always have to go & fix where he puts things. I love everything to put away so I know where everything is. And I love the sound of the dryer going. It is very soothing. I also like to load & unload the dishwasher. I always put like 1/2 cup of vinegar in with my dishwasher load & I swear it makes your dishes come out better. Especially if you have hard water. It is a life-saver! I hate when you get those hard water spots.
My least favorite chore is cleaning the bathrooms. Ewww. Disgusting. That is the one that I try to put off on cleaning. But then if you put it off toooo long, it is even grosser to clean. Especially with boys. (Mom's with boys--you know what I am talking about!). Riley is really good with helping me out with cleaning the bathrooms. He knows I hate it, so he does them whenever he can. And I love that!! It makes me soooo happy. If you have never bought the Mr. Clean cleaners, try them. I think they work great. And they smell really good too. They made my hard water spots disappear in my bathtub. It worked really great for me. I also hate to iron. And Riley loves it. So it's a good trade off. He is really good at it too. Way better than me. And I feel like I can never make it as smooth as I want it.
