Are we?
I have been reading this book that my sister gave me for Christmas (actually I've read it over & over again!). It is talks from previous BYU women's conferences. There are so many wonderful talks, but one really stands out to me. It is always coming to my mind, at all times of the day. Are we what we should be? Are we the type of women that we can be proud of? We are here to help others. To influence others. As being a member of the church, we have been given many gifts & opportunities. Do we "think of Christ" in our everyday lives. I know that for me, time gets away so so fast. Sometimes it feels like I blink & the day is over. I know that I need to slow down & rejoice in Christ. I want to look for ways to help & build up others. I want to put Christ first in my life. This means that we need to speak up & do what is right. Our Father wants us back, & he wants us back clean. To be clean, we need to walk away from the philosophies of man. Just because everyone else is doing it, does it make it right? No. Not at all. Sometimes it just seems so impossible to do everything that is expected of us, but with the Lord's help, we will prevail. I know that if we all arise & come unto him, we will be a great influence on the world. Our limits will be endless. We can do it. I just know it.

Very true. Thanks for the reminder. I was thinking the other day about the song we learned in primary a couple years ago - If the Savior Stood Beside Me. It made me think about things that I need to change in my life.
